Do you know how did McDonalds came up with this fast-food idea?

0
The business began in 1940, with a restaurant opened by brothers Dick and Mac McDonald in San Bernardino, California. Their introduction of the "Speedee Service System" in 1948 established the principles of the modern fast-food restaurant.
This is what wikipedia says about it. My personal opinion is that the McDonald brothers started their bussiness for branding the american life. Fast-food is a trademark since the '20s even though it wans't marked as "fast-food" immediatly. So i think that the Mcdonald brothers tried their luck in this new opened bussiness with their service system and they did it. Although the franchize became worldwide because of the initiative of Ray Kroc.

Today's question: What is exactly McDonalds?

0
McDonalds' corporation is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast-food restaurants, serving nearly 47 million customers daily. I don't want to sound crazy but 47 million people? That's a lot of calories if we think about it. But that is another matter.

Snow: Good or Bad? Part II

0
Yesterday we talked about the good part of the snow. Let's see some pictures about the bad side of the snow.

So as you see the snow has it's advantages but from my point of view ou can use them only when you are at skying or snowboarding in a place where you don't have to be worried about "how am i going to work today" or "how am i going to school today". So the disadvantages  ar more then we expected to be. What do you think? It's good or bad when it's snowing?

Well this is not over yet you could still do that... DO NOT FORGET YOUR CHILDHOOD... but hey who am i to judge you right?

Let's some photos with plenty of snow from the good side view:

How do you express your feelings to yourself?

0
In one way or another every each one of us express itself by his own way but what he doesn't know is that there are hundreds out there that express thereselfs the same way you do. Why? Because it's a part of us. We have to express our feelings in one way or another or we will surely get to a desperate point where there is no turning back. My personal mode to express my feelings is by listening to wonderful chill music looking at the ceilling and thinking about the various problems for hours, but hey it helps. And i am sure that there are other people doing the same thing while i'm writing this or while your reading this. I knew many cases were some people couldn't express thereselfs in no way because they were afraid so they end up in terrible ways.
Now the reason that i wrote this post is that i want to ask you: How do you express your feelings to yourself?
I told you that i just listen music laying in bed just looking, well thats my way to express my feelings to myself. This is my way of getting peacefull with my interior ME.

Report: New York Times to charge online readers

0

The New York Times is reportedly getting ready to charge readers for access to the venerable newspaper's online content.
The newspaper is expected to announce in coming weeks that it will institute a metered pay plan in which readers will have access to a limited number of free articles before being asked to subscribe, according to a report in New York magazine. The report also suggests that a content deal could be in the works for Apple's long-rumored tablet, which many expect to be unveiled on January 27. Apple has reportedly been shopping its device to media companies in Australia to gauge interest in having their products available on the device when it's released.
As readers have increasingly gone online for their news, papers have suffered declining subscriber numbers and lower advertising revenue, resulting in a dramatic industry contraction. Newspaper publishers and the Associated Press have blamed Google and other news-aggregation sites for their woes and have threatened to delist their content and begin charging online readers.
In a bold move, New York newspaper Newsday announced plans in February 2009 to begin charging online readers for access to its content. Newspapers such as the San Francisco Chronicle have tried to push readers back to buying the physical newspaper by promoting "print-only content" that features popular features and columnists formerly also available on the newspaper's Web site.
Among the country's largest newspapers, only The Wall Street Journal has managed to continue charging online subscription fees. The New York Times abandoned a two-year experiment with the Web-subscription model in 2007, suggesting that the company's projections for subscriber revenue were small compared with advertising sales.
However, such a plan isn't likely to garner much support from readers. A Harris poll released earlier this month found that 77 percent said they wouldn't pay anything to read a newspaper's stories on the Web. Of those who indicated they were willing to be charged for access to content, 19 percent would pay between $1 and $10 a month.

YouTube supports victims in Haiti

0
Because it has a very large flow of visitors that use it daily, YouTube has started to conduct a fundraising campaign for victims who had suffered from the earthquake in Haiti.

Thus, YouTube has displayed a notice at the top of the main page, which take forward the video clip where Tracy Reines, Red Cross official, give details of earthquake consequences.

Even the right of the screen, the box where the link and embed code, YouTube has a button that allows users to choose an amount between 5 and 100 dollars that you can donate for the victims.

Note that no system of grants is only the American public, but is designed so that everyone has a bank card can donate.

YouTube has more time for a special program to run non-profit campaigns. The program enables organizations located in the United States to promote actions by intermdiul YouTube. The campaign started yesterday is organized for the U.S. Bureau of the Red Cross.

So if you are willing  to donate something for the Haiti earthquake victims, please go on the youtube page and donate. Support for the Haiti victims! :)

Funky Highway or Old School

0
Ok now that we introduced ourselfs let's start blogging. For some time I started listening to old school music again. Since 70s to 2000s we had many pretty dance music genres. Like the most pleasant for me is rap so most enjoyable course I have played those old school rap like A Tribe called Quest, Naughty by Nature, yo-yo, left eye, Kid'n Play (legend for me ) and many others. Now even if I was more focused on rap that doesn't mean that we neglected the other genres. So I listened a lot of funk (I find it brilliant considering I like to dance). The best song to me is One Way-Cutie Pie. Imagine while listening to this song that you are in a
'67 Cadillac and I will give your mind about what I was talking.

Any of you who listen to old school leave comments on what artists, what kind of music... To make a larger list for who wants to look old school artists

Let's get it started

Since I am in a continously boring mood I taught that I should start an international blog, where everybody could read my thoughts. I hope that this will be a pleasure for us everybody, for me as a writer and for you as a reader. Any topic ideas you have, feel free to leave a comment whit it:).
